LUCIE Řezáčová
Lucie Řezáčová är en tjeckisk innebandyspelare, som sedan 2020 bor och spelar innebandy som proffs i Schweiz. Hon har tidigare meriter från det tjeckiska U19-landslaget där hon varit med och tagit VM-medaljer, och nu spelar hon för klubblaget Kloten-Jets Dättlikon, som är den mest framgångsrika klubben i Schweiz på damsidan. Lucie driver dessutom ett populärt konto på Instagram (@l.rezacova12) där hon delar tips för att bli en bättre innebandyspelare.

What do you like to do on a day off?
I love spending time with my family and I also enjoy travelling — especially exploring the Swiss mountains.
What makes a good teammate?
A good teammate supports others in both good and bad moments and always gives 100% for the team.
What’s it like playing floorball in Switzerland?
It’s amazing. I enjoy our league, the mentality of people here, the level of individual performances — and of course I love the nature Switzerland offers.
Have you done any other sports besides floorball?
I like going to the gym whenever I can, and I used to play basketball before I started floorball.
How do you curve (hook) your floorball blade?
Nothing too fancy — I prefer a slightly lifted tip. I heat water in a kettle, submerge the blade for about 5 minutes, then shape it around a hard ball to get the curve I want and cool it in cold water. After that the blade holds the shape well — and they become absolute rockets!
