In 2012, Fat Pipe, as the first brand on the market, launched the first extremely lightweight floorball stick: G-Series.It was a revolutionary innovation, and at that time the lightest stick available for purchase. Fat Pipe used a unique Japanese carbon fiber, which allowed them to reduce the shaft weight to as low as 96 grams, and as a whole stick, it was the first to go below the dream limit of 200 grams. The success lasted for a couple of seasons before the G-Series was discontinued...Until now, a few seasons ago, when Fat Pipe relaunched the G-Series in a new version: NEXT G!Fat Pipe still uses the same Japanese carbon fiber as before but has reinforced and improved the shaft compared to its predecessor.NEXT G with a round grip profile is available in 27, 29, and 31 mm flex, simply providing a NEXT G for you, no matter what type of player you are!- 27 mm flex: Usually best suited for male players, older juniors, and some female players who prefer a slightly stiffer shaft.- 29 mm flex: Generally best suited for junior players, females, and male players who want a slightly softer shaft.- 31 mm flex: Perfect for younger junior players!(This season, there is also a takedown variant for kids in the same design as the senior stick. The stick has a 34-flex and simpler material choices to better fit the price range for junior players)For the 26/27 season, Fat Pipe has designed the shaft in a multi-colored, shaded finish that shifts between green, purple, and pink depending on how you angle the shaft. A really stylish and unique shaft design that also matches well with a variety of blade colors.Fat Pipe has equipped the stick with the Sticky Grip White grip tape, providing you with a good grip and giving the stick a sleek appearance.The blade at the bottom, SILK SLICKS, is the perfect choice for floorball players aiming for a silky smooth touch and a seamless playing experience on the field.The revolutionary SLICKS technology, which is completely unique and patented by Fat Pipe, combines the best of two worlds: the soft touch and feel from PP blades, and the frictionless feel that PE blades have against the floor. The blade is equipped with an SLICKS slide bar made of PE plastic on the underside of the blade, providing ultimate glide on the field. The rest of the blade is made of PPS plastic, for optimal feel and control.Fat Pipe's new silky PP Soft (PPS) material ensures an incredibly soft touch and increased ball control. The rounded shape with a pre-hook provides a fast and smooth playing feel right out of the box. The modern and lightweight structure together with a medium concavity makes it easy to handle the ball, get a silky touch, and shoot accurately on goal.
